The Kayaklap Activity


The Kayakalp activity was conducted to promote cleanliness, hygiene, organization, and environmental awareness across different areas of the premises. The Kayakalp activity covered the park area, outside department areas, corridors, labs and neglected areas of the college. In the park area attention was given to the cleaniness greenery plant maintenance and proper waste disposal to create a healthy and pleasant environment. This drive was conducted around the canteen to ensure a hygienic, safe and pleasant environment for staff and visitors. The common area was organized and maintained to provide a pleasant and hygienic space for patients and visitors. Health awareness display boards were arranged as a part of initiative to promote kayakapl activity for health conscious behavior.

The park area was observed to assess its cleanliness, greenery, and overall maintenance. The activity focused on keeping the surroundings clean, maintaining plants, and creating a pleasant and healthy environment for everyone.
The area outside canteen was reviewed for cleanliness, hygiene, waste disposal and proper maintenance. The activity aimed to promote hygienic and maintain a clean environment around canteen area.
Various departments were observed to check cleanliness, hygiene and effective waste management. The activity encouraged everyone to maintain a clean, organized, and productive working environment.
The area over the reception was not in proper use for long time. This area was cleaned and make it reuse for health and hygiene awareness among students and staff. This activity was completed by placing awareness banners and depicting greenery around the area.
The labs of various departments were assessed for the hygiene and cleaniness. The floors and slbs were properly sanitized and this activity created the safer environment for the students and staff.
The corriodors of the college were assessed for the hygiene and sanitation which were cleaned and reorganized to provide healthier environment for the patients faculty and students.

Har Ghar Tiranga 2026


In accordance with the National Dental Commission’s notice regarding participation in the Har Ghar Tiranga 2026 Campaign, the Luxmi Bai Institute of Dental Sciences & Hospital, Patiala proudly participated in the campaign by coming together in the spirit of patriotism and national pride.

A selfie with the Tiranga, along with photographs of our faculty, staff and members of the institute, captures our collective respect and love for our nation. As we celebrate Independence Day, let us honour the spirit of freedom, unity and our shared responsibility towards building a stronger India.

No Tobacco Day Lecture by Dr. Pranjan Mitra at Modern Public School in collaboration with Mata Kaushalya Hospital and Civil Surgeon Office, Patiala.


The Resource persons for the session were Dr. Shelly Jaitely ( Civil Surgeon ) , Dr. Sunanada Grover (DDHO), Dr Inderpreet Kaur Radhandwa (AHO), Dr. Savita (Medical Officer - Dental ) from Mata Kaushalya Hospital and Dr. Pranjan with a team of young interns from Luxmi Bai Institute of Dental Sciences, Patiala. Special thanks to Dr. Ashutosh Nirola SIr for Guidance and support for this awareness programme.
